Conference

On Saturday, I'm gonna travel to San Diego where the CYTO 2013 will be held. This is the next conference of the International Society for Advancement of Cytometry (ISAC). Conferences are special events for scientists where we can share our latest results, initiate collaborations, keep up with technological advances, etc. I think ISAC is unique in supporting young researchers as much as possible. I've never seen any other big international societies which provide such an extensive and real support. Despite my young age I've got the opportunity to serve as a Programme Committee member and therefore I was involved in speaker suggestion and abstract reviewing procedures and gonna judge posters and co-chair one of the Frontiers Sessions in the main hall... I don't know what will happen but have got butterflies in my stomach. The program of the conference is very exciting but I'd like to save some time for sightseeing as well since have never been to San Diego. Hopefully, the weather won't be as drizzling as here in London....
