About the blog

After winning a Marie Curie IEF, I started working at the Institute of Cancer Research in the UK. The MC fellowship program provides a great opportunity for young researchers to gain new know-how and skills in an international environment. The goal of this blog is to share my experience I have been acquiring during the two-year-long fellowship period. Certainly, science will be touched but the blog is not a scientific one. It is rather about showing the visitors that scientists are not as oddballs as many people think they are. The white coat-wearing guys in the lab are also humans with everyday challenges, efforts and happiness. Please relax and enjoy reading the posts :-)
